The Los Angeles Education Research Institute hosted a virtual Research & Policy seminar by William R. Johnston, in partnership with the UCLA Center for Community Schooling and L.A. Unified. His presentation described RAND’s research and lessons learned that may be helpful for ensuring the success of a Community Schools model in Los Angeles. Dr. Karen Hunter Quartz, Director of the UCLA Center for Community Schooling, led the discussion following the presentation.
